The continent of Africa is dependent on the vehicles because of a lacking infrastructure in the public transportation. Industry and trade require well-maintained lorries and daily most of the people use transport to manage their way to work. Even for tourism transport plays an important role. Vehicles therefore have to be maintained and repaired on a regular basis.

The good condition of a vehicle is essential. Repairs and attendances need to be done quite often and still the often missing spare parts must be quickly available and reliably installed.

​

The Vision for Africa Intl. Vocational Institute qualifies the students to manage these challenges. A two-years study course prepares them to pass the examination of the Uganda Business and Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) successfully.

THE COURSE IS STRUCTURED IN THE FOLLOWING PARTS:

  • Vehicle technology parts 1 and 2

  • Repairs of vehicles

  • Mechanics

  • Technical drawing

  • Vehicle electronics

  • Workshop technology

  • Practical training focusing on self-employment and employer's knowledge

 

After the successfully passed final examination the students will be handed their „Craft – Part One“ Certificate.
